Senior Class “Save the Dates”

Just in case you missed it the first time, here are Senior Dates to Remember:

Senior Class Pictures – Tuesday-Thursday, August 28^th -30^th @ MRHS

Say Cheese!    In the coming weeks, all seniors will receive a mailing from Lifetouch Photography about Senior Portraits.  Enclosed in the mailing will be specific information regarding sitting times, dates, attire, and available portrait packages. Sitting times will be scheduled between 8am-3pm. Regardless of which package you select, we will require each senior to take one formal pose to ensure that every 12^th grader is included in the school yearbook (this photo will also be used for school IDs).  This formal pose requires gentlemen to wear the provided tuxedo top and ladies to wear the provided black drape.  Lifetouch charges each senior a nominal sitting fee of $10 for the basic yearbook/student ID picture (scholarships are available through the school if needed).

If desired, seniors (following the dress guidelines above) may substitute outside portraits for use in the yearbook by submitting them to Mr. Eckert for his approval.

Senior Crab Feast – Monday, October 8^th, MRHS Cafeteria 6-8pm

Old Bay and steamed crustaceans….What Maryland does best!

The Senior Crab Feast will be the first exclusively senior tradition at MRHS, offering the Class of ’08 a bonding experience with good food and good fun.

Bring your appetites!   Tickets will go on sale October 1^st – 5^th.  The cost of the ticket, which has yet to be determined, will include a Senior T-Shirt.

Senior Breakfast – Wednesday, October 17^th @ MRHS

A great start to the day!  While our sophomores and juniors take the PSAT, our seniors will be cordially invited to their first Senior Breakfast. Activities are likely to include:

· Guest Speaker – Handling the Stress of the College Application Process

· Senior Superlatives Nominations

· Senior Yearbook Write-ups

· Cap & Gown Sizing
