The MRHS Environmental Club participated in a tree planting with the Howard County Parks and Recs. They planted over 100 trees at Alpha Ridge Park.

  • 11/23/2014-- National Art Honor Society's Afternoon Tea

    You will soon be cooking and cleaning for the Holidays, so take a little time for yourself and come to the National Art Honor Society's Mad Hatter's Tea Party, Sunday Nov. 23, 2014 1:30 pm!! You will be served a variety of homemade savory and sweet treats as well as your choice of herbal, English Breakfast or Earl Grey tea. You will also go home with a handmade teacup! Come for the tea, stay for the matinee performance of Alice in Wonderland!! Tickets are $10 (play tickets sold separately). Tea cup selection in order of ticket purchase – first ticket = first choice, reserve early! No tickets sold at the door! Email Ms. Miers-Bond with questions and to make your reservation at LaVerne_Miers-Bond@hcpss.org. Proceeds will benefit Howard County Grass Roots Suicide Prevention Initiative.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Marriotts Ridge will be using an internet program called PickATime to schedule parent/teacher conferences. To access this program, please click here and follow the Parent PickATime directions. You can only access PickATime from November 11 at 4:00 PM to November 21 at 3:00 PM. In order to access this program, you will need your child’s Student ID number.

Alice in Wonderland

This fall, the Marriotts Ridge Theatre Department is performing Alice in Wonderland! It runs November 20-22 at 7 PM, and on November 23 at 3 PM. Before the performance on the 23rd, there is a Mad Hatter Tea Party at 1 PM. Tickets to the play are $12. Tickets to the Tea Party are $10 and must be purchased in advance. Ticket holders will receive a hand-made tea cup, homemade sweet and savory treats. All proceeds benefit Grassroots, Howard County’s only 24-hour crisis intervention center and homeless shelter.   HCPSS has contracted with Online School Payments, Inc. (OSP) in order to afford parents/guardians the ability to pay online for school activities that would otherwise have required payment by cash or check. OSP accepts credit and debit cards (Visa or MasterCard) through a secure web browser at your convenience, 24 hours a day. You can even use your iPhone or tablet! OSP does charge a small handling fee for this service.
